I knit this about two years ago for friends having their first baby. I made it six month size, so that it would fit him in winter.
I was embarrassed to find it fits him now at 18 months, but his mum said he fits in to a lot of his 6 months clothes still. It is in Bendi Harmony. I didn't know if he was going to be boy or girl, so I hedged my bets with the navy and the hearts.
I don't know if it always happens this way, but I like that friends have had a kid who is the type of person I'd be friends with.

yeah I'd felt a bit of a doofus that I'd knit him a useless garment, it is a relief that it has got a second go this winter.
